King David Infant School is a voluntary aided school serving boys and girls of the Jewish Faith aged between four and seven years of age. It is part of the thriving King David Campus in the Cheetham Hill district of Manchester although most pupils are from the surrounding districts of Prestwich, Whitefield, Salford and Bury.

There are many synagogues and Kosher shops in the area. The pupils represent a wide range of backgrounds and the levels of Jewish knowledge and observance of the families it serves vary considerably.

The school delivers all areas of the National Curriculum alongside an extensive range of Jewish Studies subjects.

The school has won the Government Sponsored Basic Skills Award for delivering and achieving high standards in Maths and English and the Leading Aspect Award for Jewish Studies.

There is a pre school nursery and creche on site and children leave the Infants to join the Junior School. Parents then have the option to send their children to the thriving and much admired adjacent King David High School or to enter them for independent grammar schools. Also on site are separate boys and girls Yavneh schools for pupils aged 11+.

The school has its own out of school club which takes place every day until 5.45pm and during most school holidays.

There are school buses which serve the infants as well as other parts of the campus.
